Mixed media experimentation with 3D 

I created a plaster casting of broken shells that have aged over time, while newspaper, wire and mod roc aided my design for a hand withering away due to the overbearing process of decay.

This piece was created after using a range of random scrap materials given, to produce an object based on the theme I was exploring (Young and Old), in under 15 minutes.

The circular shape symbolises a clock and the passing of time - visually represented by the 12 vertices created by the thread, while the golden key reminds us how precious efficient use of our time is here on Earth – the key to success.
